Hey there my beauties!
I never thought that I will be reviewing a water gel type of foundation. I thought glowy foundations were never suitable for oily skin. But hey, the gel texture actually makes it work for my skin type. And I’m addicted to the GLOW~~~
It looks like your typical liquid foundation. I use Real Techniques Expert Face Brush and it works very well together. I have listed some PROS and CONS, so let’s check them out! ^^
- Good coverage despite having a gel consistency
- Doesn’t look cakey. But undereyes may look cakey initially. I recommend using an undereye base or spray with mist for foundation to be absorbed into skin
- Glowy but not oily
- Doesn’t clog my pores
- Settles into my pores (nose area) after a long (3/4 of a day). I recommend using Laneige BB cushion (either pore control or whitening) on nose area instead
- Might need to dab (depends on where you are at & how oily your skin is)
Here’s how the foundation looks like on me (no filter)
Overall, if you have oily skin but still would like to go for the glowy look, I highly recommend you to check this out! 🙂 I am actually very surprised by this foundation because I thought the Water Gel consistency wouldn’t be able to keep me matte. However in fact, it is very light weight for my oily skin. My skin is able to breathe and doesn’t create more sebum. I find it very suitable for oily skin types & people who don’t like too matte foundation (which can look too “flat”).
