HELLO FOODIES! I’m excited when we get to talk about food and yes, we Singaporeans love food! I’m sure we all google places to eat before we travel right?
ANAM STATION (Line 6)
I can’t read Korean so I don’t know the name of this shop. But the BBQ here is so good!
Lucky for you guys, there’s a mandarin translation on the menu now. No english menu and staff can’t speak English too.
Free steamed egg and soy bean soup
This tastes so so good and affordable too. I highly recommend you to check this out especially if you can speak/read Korean, as this place is not easy to find. Anam Station is a “student area” for Korea University (KU) students. I came here for a Summer Program and have always come back for this BBQ shop.
Celebrity, HAHA Loco Quan 401 (Myeongdong)
Tried this because many reviewed this online. I think it’s nice, no doubt BBQ is always nice BUT there’s nothing special about it.
Feeds 2 pax for around KRW35,000 or more.
NOLBOO (Budae JJigae) @ Myeongdong
I think this needs no introduction. The Army Base Stew or Budae Jjigae is nice and wallet friendly.
I don’t think this is the original Budae Jjigae taste because there are so many versions so yeah nice can already…
BIYA @ Anam/ Hongdae
Again, the food at school area are good and much cheaper.
This shot doesn’t do justice. I’ll look through my photos to find a better shot. Comes with free flow hash brown and 1 drink.
This dish is very simple – just spam, sausage and noodles. KRW5,500 per pax. Suitable for those on budget or if you just love noodles. The broth is good.
Random food that we ate…
Sorry this looks very ugly, that bitten muffin. But the toasted cheese sandwich was pretty good.
Something sweet to end my trip in Seoul…
